Chris is a passionate, talented butcher with over 30 years of experience.

Chris’ recipes, methods and techniques are unmatched. Not only has he been awarded more than twenty times for his bacon, ham and small goods but also Chris was named as, “The New Zealand Pork Producer Of The Decade” in 2017.

Based in Ashburton, Chris and his wife Sue are artisan meat processors. Chris handles and processes the carcasses from start to finish whilst Sue helps with the packaging and distribution. Their vision is to do the basics exceptionally well - which is exactly what they do. We’re stoked to have them on our team!
